Gavin joined the family business as a trainee quantity surveyor in 1989 having studied Building Management at Oxford Brookes University. He became a director in 1995, Managing Director in 2003, and Chairman in 2023.

He is responsible for pre-construction project procurement and tendering.

Gavin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
