Rihoy & Son was the first Channel Island building contractor to attain Chartered Building Company status. This accreditation is maintained by constantly furthering the training and education of our employees. Many of the company’s staff hold accreditation from professional bodies such as the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building and the British Institute of Facilities Management, as well as further education qualifications in fields such as site engineering.

Apprenticeships in carpentry, trowel trade and painting and decorating are offered and those interested in applying for an apprenticeship must have reasonable numeracy and literacy skills, be craft orientated and have a genuine interest in the construction industry.
A-level graduates can also join the firm and continue their studies by taking BTEC courses in site engineering and quantity surveying.
